Adding Tax Rates from Invoice or Quote
While working on an invoice or quote, click the Add New Tax Rate button in the top submenu.
From the “Add New Tax Rate” window, you can enter the details to create the new tax rate.
- Tax Name – Short description of the tax rate (e.g. NY Sales Tax)
- Tax Rate – Enter the tax rate as a percentage (e.g. 6.75)
Finally, click “Add Tax Rate” to save your changes and add the new rate. The rate will be automatically selected on your invoice.
Manage From Users Settings
Add Tax Rate
First, click on the “Add Another Item” button to make an empty tax rate record show at the bottom of the section. Then, enter the new tax rate description and rate percentage. You can click on “Save Invoice Settings” to save the new tax rate.
Update Tax Rate
Edit any needed fields and then click on “Save Invoice Settings” to proceed with removing the tax rate.
Delete Tax Rate
Check the “Delete” field for the tax rate needing to be deleted and then click on “Save Invoice Settings” to proceed with removing the tax rate.
